Roscoff is the birth place of the famous pink onion, so well reknowned even in Great Britain thanks to the onion sellers going in the past by boat.
Today, we are celebrating the new onions season every year on the third weekend in August. Trades parade, market and activities are organised for that occasion.
To go back in the country with this onions, you can buy it directly in the farms or on markets and in supermarkets. The pink onions are recognizable with the pink sticker « Oignon de Roscoff », label of the production.
