L'Îlot ("islet") Sainte Anne, in Saint-Pol-de-Léon, might be small, but it has a rich and thrilling history ! Having first started as an ancient hermitage it then turned into a fortress and then a farm and finally today a popular recreational site. The perfect spot for families and friends ! Come and enjoy an afternoon at the beach, the playground and, if feeling adventurous, a climb to the top of the rock to enjoy a breathtaking 180° view of the Baie de Morlaix !
Want to try something new ? Why not looking for cockles, clams and periwinkles at low tide ? Tip for kids : Visit the island early morning or in the evening, sit on a bench and stay still or take a peep from behind a tree... And soon you will see dozens of rabbits popping out from everywhere !
